BIOGRAPHY

Pamela Linn (Tilton) has been a leading presence in the Chicago area real estate market since 1996.  Pamela is the former President and Managing Broker of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty and is in the top 1% of all Chicagoland real estate brokers. As Managing Broker of over 300 residential and commercial agents and staff, she led Jameson to successfully break all previous company records in volume, hitting over one billion dollars in sales. Her sales experience and management knowledge make her continuously recognized as a luxury real estate specialist dedicated to marketing a wide range of properties.

Growing up in the Oak Park and River Forest area, Pamela knows the Chicagoland neighborhoods like the back of her hand. Her parents owned an architecture and interior design firm which led her to appreciate the world of architecture at an early age. Following their footsteps, she launched herself into the real estate industry selling multiple Frank Lloyd Wright homes as well as other world renowned architects. Pamela has been featured by The Wall Street Journal, Architecture Digest, Crain’s, Chicago Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Sun-Times, Huffington Post, Barron’s and more.  Her listings have received wide exposure including, local, national and international avenues.

Prior to joining Jameson Sotheby’s in 2011, she was instrumental in helping @Properties with their phenomenal growth. As President of Sales and Managing Broker, she helped expand the company’s presence in Chicago’s Gold Coast, Streeterville and Loop areas with over 250+ agents at this location alone and started the @Properties Commercial division. Pamela went on to work in commercial real estate development at Field Partners in Lake Forest and was an invaluable member of the Professional National Title Network (formerly Attorney’s National Title Network) as a closer, closing over one-thousand properties.

Before embracing the real estate profession, Pamela was a news writer for both WGN-TV & Fox News in Chicago. She has a strong background in financial news, chalking up eight years as a news anchor/producer/reporter with WCIU-TV’s Stock Market Observer.  Linn earned her managing broker’s license in 2000 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with an emphasis in Radio/TV & Film from Northern Illinois University.

She recently was the Chairperson of the Grievance Committee for the Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR) and has been on the Grievance Committee for over 9 years.  She has been an active member of the Governmental Affairs Committee at CAR and was elected to the board of directors for the Multiple Listing Service of Northern Illinois, now known as Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED).  Additionally, Linn holds the designation of Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) and has helped bring 100 agents under her direction.  She is also a member of the Million Dollar Guild at the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, which recognizes agents who have demonstrated skill in the multi-million dollar home market.
